Ch. 3, Question 10:

Being asked to go on a launch that I have just heard about would be really scary and I don't think I could make a decision as quickly as Ender did. Living without my friends and family would be torture. At the same time I could also be independent.

Pros:

• Being without my parents
• No siblings to deal with
• Making new friends
• Maybe finally being the leader

Cons:

• Being without my family
• Missing siblings
• Other kids being mean
• Being the person that no one likes

I would stay home with my family. I wouldn't take a risk on leaving them. The military would just have to wait.
